People possess an innate capacity to have fun. It is present when human beings pursue an enjoyable stimulus. In the same way, students have the capacity to seek fun in their everyday lives. Students of all ages like having fun and also enjoy devoting time to fun activities. Fun activities motivate students, therefore, motivation is an important part of students´ lives.

Motivation plays a very important role in learning, in general, and takes on even more significance when applied to learning a foreing language. An essential part of motivation is constituted by the different activities presented to students in the classroom. As a part of the activities for learning english, games have been very useful for motivating students.
